I blame Sir Isaac Newton

Damn you falling apples, now you've spread your witchcraft to the Tigers!

Damn you falling apples, now you've spread your witchcraft to the Tigers!

Gravity stinks doesn’t it? We took a big trip back down to earth, falling flat for 2 quarters on offense. Stumbling and falling again for good in the 4th.

Special teams was again exposed to be the thinly veiled line of Auburn jerseys vaguely protecting our kicker.

Defense. Don’t even get me started. In their “defense,” it must be hard to play the entire 1st half and have enough gas in the tank to hold the opposing offense late.

Chris Todd must have led the Top 20 celebrations that wrestled Auburn to the mat this week. That or his naming to the Maxwell Award Watch List.

We’re back to reality, back to gravity and back to being closer to the Auburn team most folks predicted we would be back in August. Sure, they can regroup, refit and fight on, but I’m afraid Arkansas exposed every weakness this team has for the rest of our schedule to read in Cliff Note format.

I’ll watch it again tomorrow and try and make some sense to it all. In the meantime, I blame Sir Isaac.
